About the role
Company Description
Lead Exceptional Hospitals. Empower Great Teams. Help Shape the Future of Specialty Veterinary Medicine.
Are you an experienced veterinary specialty hospital leader who enjoys developing people, building strong relationships with veterinary specialists, and driving meaningful business results?
At Alliance Animal Health, we're looking for a seasoned Regional Director of Specialty Operations to lead a portfolio of multispecialty referral hospitals.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven operator who understands the unique complexities of specialty veterinary medicine and is passionate about helping hospitals, specialists, and leadership teams succeed.
We're looking for someone who brings both the business expertise to lead complex hospital operations and the people skills to build trusted partnerships with veterinary professionals.
Who We Are
Alliance Animal Health partners with veterinary hospitals across the country, providing the operational expertise, business resources, and strategic support they need to thrive in our Joint Venture Model.
Over the last several years, we've made a significant investment in reshaping and expanding our Specialty, Emergency & Urgent Care portfolio. We've had the opportunity to partner with some incredible hospitals and veterinary teams, while building a more focused operational structure designed around the unique needs of these businesses.
And we're just getting started!
As our network continues to grow, so does our commitment to developing specialized resources, leadership support, and growth opportunities tailored specifically to specialty, emergency, and urgent care medicine. We recognize that these hospitals operate differently from traditional general practice, and we believe they deserve an approach that reflects their clinical complexity, operational demands, and distinct opportunities.
What makes Alliance different is our commitment to preserving the individual culture and medical autonomy of each hospital while providing the resources, partnerships, and leadership to support long-term success.
Our core values of Passion, Engagement, Trust, and Service (PETS) guide how we work together and support our hospitals.
We believe exceptional veterinary medicine and strong business operations go hand in hand, and that our greatest successes come from meaningful collaboration between medical and operational leadership.
The Opportunity
As our Regional Director of Specialty Operations, you'll join us at an exciting time in the evolution of our specialty hospital network.
This is more than an opportunity to oversee a group of hospitals. It's a chance to help shape how we support, develop, and grow a portfolio of unique and highly specialized veterinary businesses.
You'll partner directly with Hospital Administrators, Practice Managers, Medical Directors, and veterinary specialists to strengthen hospital operations, improve financial performance, develop leaders, and support specialty service growth.
You'll also have the opportunity to help build and refine operational strategies, share best practices, and influence the resources and support structures we're continuing to develop specifically for our specialty hospitals.
This isn't a traditional regional leadership role. We're looking for someone who understands the complexities of specialty hospital operations, from specialist scheduling and advanced diagnostics to multidisciplinary clinical teams, surgical services, and referral-driven growth.
Most importantly, we're looking for a leader who enjoys building relationships, developing people, and helping exceptional veterinary teams reach their full potential.
If you're excited about joining a growing specialty network where your experience, ideas, and leadership can make a meaningful impact, we'd love to connect.
